The International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS) Council of Administration convened on December 17 to review the candidates for the position of IIAS President for the 2025–2028 term. Four candidates remain in the selection process:

  • Rana Al Khalifa, Bahrain Institute of Public Administration
  • Alexander Balthasar, Austrian Ministry of Defense
  • Geraldine Fraser-Moleketi, South African Department of Public Service and Administration
  • Voruganti Srinivas, Indian Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances

The election will take place during the Extraordinary General Assembly on June 3, 2025. Only members who have settled their 2024 contributions will be eligible to vote in this pivotal moment for the IIAS community.

The International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS) has reached the final stage of its search for a new Director General, with two candidates selected to proceed to consideration by the Council of Administration.

The International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration (IASIA) has extended the nomination period for its two distinguished awards: the Donald C. Stone Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Advancement and Well-Being of IASIA and the O.P. Dwivedi Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Advancement of Public Administration and Public Policy in the World.
